The Issachar Summons Ministerial Studies is a training initiative created to serve the local church, with its hands-on training of leaders and lay members who want to give their lives to Christian ministry to become effective in any field where God might call them to serve.

The program is set up to provide solid Bible teaching that trains in practical ministry, equips for leadership and provides the opportunity for hands-on training in a specialized area of ministry.

I have talked with and observed too many that are ill-prepared to represent the Body of Christ. Whether this is due to not enough skilled leaders to teach or the pastor's load is too large, we see the need.

Therefore, we believe by offering this training we can assist in developing believers into more effective leaders; positioning them for success in whatever they do for Christ. Leadership training is a major priority for all while being a part of a progressive church.
